Bellflower 'Boule De Neige' - S1

Too special to be lost in the mists of gardens past, this rare peach-leaved bellflower once took 18th-century English gardens by storm, the single-flowered types cast into the compost heap in favor of these five layered swirls of satin white. Hardy and of easy culture, it puts on a show in early summer gardens, lovely with other spring whites such as feverfew and foxgloves.
